Year 12 mentors have been working with primary pupils recently as part of our Shaping Futures programme. The fourth and fifth sessions in the programme included a music workshop where pupils got to use our music tech Mac Suite to explore drum beats and take part in some singing. In the fifth session our visitors explored ‘found poetry’ with the English Department, writing verses using ripped up pages and selected words. Both sessions finished with a visit to the computer room to work on 11+ materials through the Skyward Kids Platform (https://skywardkidslifeskills.com). Well done to all our Year 12 mentors, who have each been doing a fantastic job at supporting their allocated student.
