We were delighted to celebrate our annual Sports Evening at the School last week, marking the conclusion of this year’s House competition. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful support from parents and families who joined us. The crowd lining the track and field events was bigger than ever, and the House-coloured flags and homemade banners created a fantastic atmosphere of competition, pride and camaraderie.

Congratulations to Southgate House, who were crowned winners of the Athletics Cup. The final results were:

• 1st – Southgate
• 2nd – Northgate
• 3rd – Westgate
• 4th – Newgate
• 5th – Eastgate

Well done to every pupil who represented their House, as well as those who encouraged and supported their peers throughout the evening, and those raising money for charity on stalls. The enthusiasm, teamwork and positive spirit shown by all pupils made the event a great success.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our PTFA for their incredible efforts in running the bar and BBQ, and to our staff for coordinating and supporting the student stalls, Eco Club’s veg shop, and all aspects of the track and field events. We now look forward to announcing and presenting the House Trophy to the overall winners during the final assembly of the year next week.
