St. Nikolaus visits the German department

Today our beginner German groups learnt about St. Nikolaus Tag in Germany. Each pupil left a shoe outside the classroom and waited to be visited by St. Nikolaus. In Germany St. Nikolaus traditionally visits the children on the 6th December, leaving presents for good children and coal for bad children. This was a real cultural insight into Christmas in Germany and the boys were really pleased with the presents that they found in their shoes.
