The much-anticipated staff vs pupils cricket match took place last week, with the 1st XI batting first, posting 155-9. Highlights included a sensational catch from Mr O'Neil, three wickets for Mr Emerson and a tidy opening spell from fan favourite Mr Deacon. Luke F (Year 12) was the top scorer for the 1st XI. The staff struggled with the bat early on. Alex M (Year 13) ripped through the top order, taking four wickets in his first four overs, but Mr Rideout and Mr Richards put on a 124 run partnership to secure a sixth straight win for the Headteacher's XI.
