We celebrated World Book Day today, and it was fantastic to see so many pupils and staff joining in, with many coming to school dressed as their favourite literary characters. A wide range of genres were represented - from the Wizard of Oz via Sherlock Holmes to Good Omens! The Book Day Bakes competition also returned; challenging students to create cakes inspired by books and literary characters. Staff certainly enjoyed tasting and judging the baked goods at lunchtime in Food Tech! Well done to everyone who took part.
