The winner of the first Rich’s Poetry by Heart competition, which took place back in February, has gone on to win first prize in the county section. A video of Tate Franz’s fantastic renditions were put forwarded to the external judges, who gave the following feedback:

Poem 1: Jabberwocky: Tate offered a captivating performance, bringing out the essence of the poem through varied and dynamic intonation.

Poem 2: Pike: Tate conveyed the essence of this poem in a very thoughtfully paced and mature recitation.

Well done to Tate and all the Year 7 competitors!
