A Year 10 team from Sir Thomas Rich’s School has won the Gloucestershire round of the Geographical Association Worldwide Quiz Competition. Competing under the team name 'Three Wonders of the World', the pupils secured first place against secondary schools from across the county. The competition, organised by Glos Geog with support from Emma Espley, featured a wide range of challenging rounds. Topics included sustainability, Britain from above, natural hazards, and both physical and human geography. Three Sir Thomas Rich’s teams took part in the event, demonstrating impressive geographical knowledge and teamwork throughout the evening.

Pupils described the event as enjoyable and engaging, commenting on the breadth of geography covered and expressing a great deal of enthusiasm about competing again in the future. Congratulations to all the pupils involved for representing the School so well.
