Year 11 Mock Interviews 2017

Once again Rich’s provided our Year 11’s with the opportunity to engage with ‘real’ people from the world of business, commerce and industry, by experiencing the pressures of enduring the dreaded ‘Interview Process’. As usual, our students really gained a tremendous amount out of the whole experience, with valuable lessons learned, particularly in some cases in relation to the quality of their CV’s. One of the most important points that our Interviewers highlighted, was the importance of our students really ‘selling themselves’ in terms of their skills, achievements and what they could offer prospective employers. Often, our students possibly assume that the key criteria to job interviews is only academic success, when in fact, it is often the case that the qualifications merely get you through the door for the interview! Many of our students need to exhibit more confidence and really celebrate their successes and talents. Our thanks and appreciation must go to all the Interviewers who sacrificed their time to provide this golden opportunity to our students – thank you to all who made the morning such a success again!
