Our Year 12 students have made an excellent start to their Croft Farm experience today, taking part in a range of activities designed to support their transition into Sixth Form and help them settle into their new environment. The trip is just one element of a detailed induction programme, and is designed to provide an important opportunity for students to get to know one another, build new friendships and develop positive relationships with both peers and staff. Alongside becoming familiar with the expectations and opportunities of Sixth Form, students have been encouraged to work collaboratively, take on new challenges and step outside their comfort zones.

A particular highlight of the first day has been the opportunity to get out on the water (without any rain!), where students have embraced the activities with enthusiasm while developing teamwork, communication and confidence.

Experiences such as this play an important role in establishing the strong sense of community and belonging that we want our Sixth Form students to experience from the outset.
