How can I volunteer?

If you feel that you would like to join our group of friendly Uniform Shop volunteers, please contact us by email. All offers of help are welcome, especially for the Year 7 and Sixth Form fittings, collation and handout days.

Please see the following price lists for both new and POU (Previously Owned Uniform) items.

Lower School new items: 2026 Lower School Price List

Sixth Form new items: 2026 Sixth Form Price List

POU items: 2026 Previously Owned Uniform Price List

How do I purchase items via the online shop?

You can visit our online uniform shop at https://www.strspa.co.uk/ to purchase all items except blazers.

Blazers are not sold online but are kept in stock in the shop because a physical fitting is needed to determine the correct blazer size.

What should I do if I’m unsure of the size needed?

If you’re unsure what size item your son or daughter needs, please ask them to visit the shop during our normal opening hours to double-check.

This means you will get the correct size more quickly and helps prevent unnecessary administration for our volunteers.

How do I know when my online order is ready for collection?

As soon as your order has been made up and is ready to collect, you will receive a “Pick up ready” email.

Please wait until you have received this email before sending your son or daughter to the shop to collect the order.

An appointment is not needed to collect orders.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Payment by debit or credit card and Apple Pay continues to be our preferred method of payment.

We also accept cash, excluding £50 notes. We no longer accept cheques.

Can students pay using their mobile phones?

In line with the school’s mobile phone policy, students in Years 7 - 11 are no longer permitted to make payments using their phones via Apple Pay or Google Pay. They must instead pay using a physical payment card.

Sixth Form students may use their phones to make payment but must put their phones away immediately afterwards.

Appointments are needed for blazers and where more than one item needs to be tried on.

How do I purchase a replacement blazer for my son or daughter?

You will need to make an appointment via https://str-ptfa-uniform-shop.reservio.com/.

Please choose our orange “Uniform shop general openings” service and only book on the quarter hour, at :00, :15, :30 or :45.

Does a parent or carer need to accompany the student for blazer fittings?

Yes. We now require a parent or carer to be present at blazer fittings, as parents and carers can have very different views about growing room and the condition of POU blazers. We do not feel comfortable taking responsibility for these decisions on their behalf.

If we do not get it quite right, there is also additional administration involved in processing an exchange, which can be difficult for our small volunteer team to find time for.

If there is no way you can accompany your child, please provide them with a means of payment, remembering that students in Years 7 - 11 are not permitted to pay by phone.

You will also need to answer several questions and confirm by email that you accept the judgement we make jointly with your child. In these circumstances, we will not accept returns or exchanges on either new or POU blazers.

What is your exchange and return policy?

We are happy to exchange or refund items within 20 school days of purchase, provided they are still in their original packaging with any tags attached, have not been named and have not taken on any strong food or tobacco odours.

This does not affect your usual consumer rights.

How do I arrange an exchange or return?

To help our volunteers have replacement items ready for your son or daughter and to begin the required paperwork, please email the shop at pauniformshop@strs.org.uk with the following information:

  • Your son or daughter’s name and form
  • The original purchase date, either the date of the online order or the date the purchase was made in person at the shop
  • The order number, if purchased online
  • The item or items you wish to exchange or return
  • For an exchange, the replacement item or size you require, if known

One of our volunteers will reply to let you know whether the cost of any requested exchange is lower or higher and explain how any additional payment or refund will be processed.

How do I purchase a Sixth Form fleece quarter-zip or an Oddballs hat?

These items are not dealt with by the Uniform Shop.

Please direct queries about Sixth Form quarter-zips to the Sixth Form Student Leadership Team and queries about hats to the sports staff.

As a rule of thumb, items purchased via Scopay are not dealt with by the Uniform Shop.

How do I phone the Uniform Shop?

Our direct telephone number is 01452 338440.

The phone is only manned when the shop is open. Please see the opening times above.

If you call outside these times, or we are unable to answer, you can leave a message. We can access these messages remotely and will aim to call you back within one week.

How can I purchase POU?

If you wish to browse or purchase Previously Owned Uniform, please visit the shop during one of our standard opening times.

Please note that all POU items are sold as seen and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

If there is a particular item you are interested in and you know the size you require, please email pauniformshop@strs.org.uk. We will happily look for you the next time the shop is open, as we do not keep stock records for POU.

If we do not have the item you need in stock, we can add you to our POU waiting list. We will contact you when the item becomes available and will hold it for one week following our email.

We can also send you an invoice and payment link by email so that you can make payment remotely.

How can I donate POU?

We are very grateful to receive any good-quality and freshly washed Previously Owned Uniform items.

Blazers can be machine washed at 40°C.

Items can either be handed in at the shop during our opening hours or placed in the large plastic box in reception, located between the sofas and the form drawers.
